Casablanca Light

There is a particular quality to late afternoon light on the Corniche — soft gold, slightly salted, never harsh. We built the house to receive it.

Windows face west where possible. Linens are ivory so light can travel. Shadows are allowed to exist. In beauty, as in architecture, contrast creates depth.

Guests often remark that time feels different here. That is intentional. Light is our first material.
